*whuh...What a week

-OK, first things first. I've left the NAW. It's gone through a change of ownership and the momentium that we had fell off. I knew it was time to give it up after sitting in front of a blank WORD screen for 45 minutes. Nothing against the gang there, but it's time to put CD Lawrence to rest. Maybe he'll be reborn in another forum (Another one of those book projects I'm always thinking about)

-It been a busy week here in the Doyle Household. Last sunday, Mom threw a surprize birthday party for my grandmother, who today turns 80. Some of Gram's friends were here. She said it was the first birthday party she'd had. This was followed up by basically a week of celebrations, and people coming up to visit, along with a phone ringing off the hook with good wishes. Anyone who has Friday's Miramichi Weekend can see her pic in the paper, as we put in a birthday announcement.

-Also going on this weekend is the annual miramichi Dog show, which has mom and dad running around. I used to take part in this, but kind of fell out as the people that I knew did as well

-We took a trip to Moncton yesterday, so mom could pick up a dog from a friend of her's. Going down anyway, I decided to go into Future shop and pick up a couple of PS2 games. So I got NHL 2005 (with a bonus extra controller) and Def Jam: Fight for NY.

I really like NHL 2005, with the World Cup of Hockey feature. I've been playing that a lot. I also now know why they were giving the controller away. It's a little bigger then a regular one. It's going to take a little getting used to.

Def Jam is going to take a LOT of getting used to. I've had 15 fights and had my ass handed to me 15 times. But it's a great game. Can't wait to spend some time on it.

-Question: Future show has all these new TV screens for sale...Why do they still have the old green screens for the checkout's?

My new "Most annoying"

SF:I don't know what my password is, Do you know what it is?
Me: No, But I can reset it. What would you like your password to be/
SF: Can I have the same as it was before

We've both already had the conversation that neither of us know what the password is, so how can I reset it to the same thing it is now?

I really should drink more

Random Update

-Yes...Carrie you are right. He would be a Whittiker, but half a Kenny :)

-Made my Preorder for WWE Smackdown! Vs RAW It's still over 2 months away, but I can't wait. Now I just need to clear enough room off the card for it.

-Bittorrent is great, I just wanted to say that. I've got WWF Superstars: The Past 10 years the past week. It was the last Syndicated WWF Superstars before the show was made into a clip show that eventually turned into The WWE Experience. Watching it (It's from 1996) I never realized now many of the people featured init we've lost. Mr. Perfect Curt Henning; Gorilla Monsoon; Brian Pillman; Davey Boy Smith; Yokozuna and Owen Hart, all passed on; most before their time.

-Song I like that I thought was going to be bigger then it was: Bachelor Girl: Buses and Trains

So much game My nickname should be ESPN

-There is a new Kenny in the world today. Dana and Dave had thier second child today, a boy, Tanner Joseph. Mom and Child are doing fine. I think I used this joke last time but Grandpa Joe already has the kid spoiled

-Willie, I hate it when people say they know something but can't say anything. That's really not right :)

-So I picked my new schedule today. There was NOTHING worth anything by the time I got to it, at least not what I wanted (early Morning with 2 days off in a Row) so I went with:

Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off
Monday: Noon to 8:30
Tuesday: 2:30 to 11pm
Wednesday: 3 to 11:30pm
Thursday: 2:30 to 11pm
Friday: 2:30pm to 11pm

The weekend off is nice with hockey season coming and just regular weekend things. It's just going to be a bitch getting turned around to that time of day.

-People that are landing here from the NavBar, if you don't mind, leave a note on the tagboard. I like seeing what people have to say. I looked at that NWA link that was left. I wish that there was a local wrestling company like that here in New Brunswick. Maybe soon...

Do you play Hockey?

Just back from my second live hockey game of the season as the Timberwolves are back in full swing with thier exhibition season. After tonights win, defeating the Campbellton Tigers 8-7, that puts them at 2 wins, one loss. It's a good basic team. I'd like to see a better goaltender and a couple more big defencemen.

I did see my first one punch knockout. Tyler Veary went to take on one of the Tigers and got tagged with an unprotected straight out shot to the chin that put him out cold before he hit the ice. Lance Woodmen stepped up his game with a pair of goals and a pair of Beauty fights. I like Marlin Joseph as a tough little player, who will drop gloves when necessary, and those that don't know that he's a southpaw, look out.
